I do love tech but I tend to want to buy to keep until the next new device comes out and just wondered at why you buy the actual same phone again and again as you say you did with the HTC One.

I bought two cheaper devices from Carphone Warehouse as I like to review products but they have told me they will only allow me to buy 2 devices in any three months – no matter what the price of the devices or whether it is on contract or payg. I just wondered how you manouvre yourself around this policy or is it because your local stores know you?

      Hi Dani,

If I knew the answer I could stop doing it :-)

I think I just love those actual devices, buy one, get bored or short of money, sell it or return it, then I want it again.

Never run into that issue at CPW although I do use P4U in Currys quite a bit, sounds like a crazy policy to me.

Enjoyed the conversation again, gents, and had an idea for Kev about an alternative to his current pattern of buying and selling phones. What would be the drawback to buying used, from your very own buy and sell web site? You would no longer be the guy who always loses that new price premium. Just a thought. Thanks for the show.
